No Matter What Your Freckles Were

Subject: Freckles

I've had freckles almost all my life, and I loathed them when I was little - I thought they made me look incredibly ugly. I love them now, and I'm so afraid of them going away. My mom used to call them sun-kisses when I was little. In hindsight, I know I was a cute kid after all - too bad I couldn't see it then.

Groovy.

  1. I am in exactly the same boat as you. I am a fellow freckle bearer, and I used to loathe them. I even tried to tan myself into oblivion. All I ended up with was stroke. I used to pray that one day they would all join together and I would look like some tanned Greek god. I even remember trying lemon juice once (some well-meaning, though misgiuded, friend told me that would make them disappear), but all that ended up happening was that I smelled like a fish and chip shop for about a week.

  2. I think freckles are groovy, too.

Don't have a ton of them. Some, but not a ton.

    Like 'em.

    Have nothing against 'em.

    Never did. Never will.

    They're cute!

  3. Believe me, the older you get the more you'll wish you had the head you just had a few years ago instead of the one you have now.

  4. Oy! to the Lemon Juice! At least it wasn't Malt Vinegar, eh Kim?

What about if DUBYA has freckles though, BG? Would those be cute as well?

No. Don't think about it. It's all good.

I'm thinkin' you're basically spot-on, Sister Mary. I'm not worried 'bout losing anything, but AM approaching to Gray Days for hair. Not ONE as of yet though, and 41 is 2 weeks away from being officially upon me.

    You're just a baby!

I think grey hair is goovy, too.

W's freckles? Um. Not so cute.

Nope. Don't even like to picture it.

    :)
