DarkSyd over on Unscrewing the Inscrutable has begun an impressive serial essay on the topic of Creationism and Geology.
I find his rantings quite humorous at times but mostly, and this is what keeps me going back, they are extremely well informed, rationally formulated and convincingly delivered.
Highly recommended reading that...

It's unfortunate that in some people's minds, scripture as the Word of God translates into, "So it must be right about everything." This is in complete disregard of the fact that, whatever the manner in which one may or may not regard the texts as being inspired, they were in fact written prior to the rise of science or even historiography.
